The Comedy of Errors

NEWSFLASH
In the late 1970’s and early 80’s, as cable television was taking the country by storm, towns and villages realized that they, too, could be on TV. They, too, could have a cable television show.
“Door County Squares” was one such show.
“Door County Squares” was a short-lived, much loved, but not-much-watched Door County cable television show. Twelve episodes were recorded, all in 1984. Only one episode survives – on videocassette (beta) – “Door County Squares, Episode 7, October 27, 1984: Area Actors Take on The Comedy of Errors.” The videocassette arrived in Door Shakespeare’s post office box last month wrapped in brown paper, with no return address.
On October 27, 2020, the 36th Anniversary of its original air date, Door Shakespeare will share that episode with you. The show runs through November 16. We cross our fingers that the videocassette will hold up that long.
