The Assistant Stage Manager works under a non Equity contract, with a minimum salary of $450 a week, commensurate with experience. THE WORKPLACE
Door Shakespeare performs outdoors on a wooden stage abutting Lake Michigan in Björklunden, Baileys Harbor, Wisconsin. The company is invested in safety and accessibility for all performers and, with that, wants everyone to know that workdays will involve outdoor rehearsal and performance in fluctuating temperature and weather conditions.
While Door County is a tourist destination known for its natural beauty, it does not have public transportation. During the 2025 season, company members need to arrange their own transportation to, and within, Door County.
Door Shakespeare is a COVID-19 vaccinated workplace.
