Lexi Praxl is thrilled to be back for her fifth summer with Door Shakespeare! Hailing from northwest Indiana, Lexi completed her theater education at Lawrence University and recently graduated with her masters in translation studies from Durham University in England. As an avid traveler, she enjoys theater wherever she goes. During her time in Durham, she worked as the box office manager at the local Assembly Rooms Theatre, a role she found a love for in these very woods. At the end of last summer, she spent a week as a theater critic reviewing shows at Edinburgh Fringe. Then, after finishing her masters thesis, rewarded herself by dancing onstage at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre in London. Outside of theater, Lexi is a competitive fencer, a hobby knitter, and a massive reader.
