Update on the Coronavirus
To Door Shakespeare friends, patrons, donors, and fellow artists,
As the world continues to move forward in this most challenging and uncertain time, Door Shakespeare would like to share with you where we are as we contend with the COVID-19/Coronavirus.
Door Shakespeare’s 25th anniversary summer season is in the works, with our first performance scheduled to take place on May 20. As we move toward that date, we will continue keeping you up to date if anything should change.
We continue to monitor information from the Centers for Disease Control at cdc.gov and the Wisconsin Department of Health Services at dhs.wisconsin.gov/outbreaks.
We will make any and all necessary changes based on what is recommended by federal, state and local governmental authorities. We will communicate updates via email, our website, Facebook and Twitter should anything change.
We strongly encourage all who are feeling ill to refrain from attending performances for the safety of all. As you make your travel and theatre-going plans, please know that Door Shakespearehas updated our ticket policies to reflect the challenges associated with this challenging time.
Door Shakespeare will waive all exchange fees for patrons wishing to move their
purchased tickets to another performance date/time.
Door Shakespeare will offer the option of using your 2020 summer season ticket
purchase toward our 2021 summer season.
Door Shakespeare will refund your ticket purchase, should you find that you are unable to
attend.
With our summer season just around the corner, know that this situation is affecting performing arts organizations across the country. If you decide to stay home from events for which you have purchased tickets, consider donating the ticket back to the organization. The donation of your unused ticket helps to support arts organizations financially at this time of uncertainty.
Again, please stay tuned to our website, www.doorshakespeare.com, or our Facebook and Twitter feeds for further updates. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us at info@doorshakespeare.com.
We thank you for your continued support and flexibility, we wish you good health, and we look forward to seeing you and sharing our summer season with you in the magical Garden at Bjorklunden.
