July 2 through August 16, 2025

Door Shakespeare announces the 2025 summer season: William Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night, and Charles Dickens’ Great Expectations, adapted for the stage by Gale Childs Daly.
Door Shakespeare’s 30th season previews July 2 and 3, opens July 4 and 5, and runs through August 15 and 16. Shows are Monday through Saturday: weekdays at 7:30 and Saturdays at 5:00.
In Twelfth Night, we find Viola shipwrecked on a foreign shore, where she begins a secret new life and discovers that she is not the only one hiding something.
A life changing encounter launches Pip’s journey in Great Expectations, where he finds love, forgiveness, and redemption.
“The 2025 summer season is full of adventure,” shares Producing Artistic Director Amy Ensign. “It is a celebration of who we are and the journeys we take to get there. It explores challenges that lead to discovery and a deeper understanding of person and place.” Ensign continues, “These stories fit perfectly under the magnificent maple that canopies our stage. I can’t wait for poetry and music to fill our little forest here in Baileys Harbor.”
Tickets will be available for Shakespeare Circle members on March 1, 2025, and for the public on March 10, 2025.
