William Gomes

William Gomes is a freelance musician from Saint Paul. He earned a bachelor’s in music composition from the University of St. Thomas, and a master’s in music theory at the University of Minnesota. He has had original works featured by the Dakota Valley Symphony and the Minnesota Sinfonia, and is a frequent consultant and commissioner with the Missed the Boat Theatre community in Saint Paul. In childhood, Gomes witnessed his parents Jerry Gomis and Suzanne Graff’s annual involvement with Door Shakespeare as actors and stage directors. Today, he is thrilled to be reconnected to be a part of Door Shakespeare’s 2026 season. This will be his first involvement in a Door Shakespeare production since playing the boy in Cyrano de Burgerac (2008).
