Auden Svoboda

Auden Svoboda (he/him) is a rising sophomore at Lawrence University studying creative writing and French. As a longtime theater lover, he is very excited to get a glimpse of the professional world with Door Shakespeare this summer. In high school, Auden performed extensively with YMTC, a musical theater training company based in Berkeley, CA. Though he hasn’t yet done any acting at Lawrence, he plans to take Acting for Singers in the fall and hopes to appear in the musical and opera as well. Recently, he’s become involved with behind-the-scenes work through his job in the Lawrence costume shop and has discovered a newfound passion for all-black outfits. When he’s not in class, Auden is often found at the Conservatory—taking voice lessons, singing in choir, and bashing his head against the walls of various practice rooms. His other interests include visual art, poetry, animated films, indie games, snowboarding, pickleball, and vacuuming.
