Auden Svoboda

Auden Svoboda (he/they) is a writer, musician, actor, and artist originally from the Bay Area of California. They are a rising senior at Lawrence University, majoring in Creative Writing and Music. They are excited to return to Door Shakespeare after working as a costumes and arts administration intern in 2024. They have been sewing since elementary school and now work at Lawrence’s costume shop as a seamster and occasional designer. Auden is studying classical voice under Cayla Rosché and looks forward to giving a senior recital next spring. Some recent highlights include premiering the role of Paul in a new opera, A Nearer Mother, and performing as the tenor soloist in the Bruckner Requiem with the Lawrence University Choirs and Symphony Orchestra. In their spare time, they enjoy playing guitar, gaming, writing poetry, and spending obscene amounts of money on coffee.
