2026 Season Announcement

This summer, bold intentions collide with curiosity, clever schemes unravel, and everyone is outwitted by the simple joy of being human. Door Shakespeare is pleased to announce our 2026 summer season: Love’s Labour’s Lost, by William Shakespeare and The Importance of Being Earnest, by Oscar Wilde.

Love’s Labour’s Lost introduces us to four young men who set out on a year of discovery with bold resolutions, only to find themselves entirely undone when the women they hope to impress meet them with confusion, curiosity, and a firm sense of their own direction.

In The Importance of Being Earnest, two friends present carefully constructed facades in order to navigate the realities of life—until their schemes collide. Mistaken identities, secret plans, and surprising revelations turn life’s expectations upside down.

Two comedies. One magnificent maple. Countless summer moments to enjoy.

The 2026 summer season previews June 29 and 30, opens July 1 and 2, and runs through August 21 and 22. Save the date and join us under the maple! Tickets are available for purchase the second week of March. We can’t wait to see you in the Garden!
