The 2015 Season Begins to Take Shape!

It has been quite a busy winter planning for our bold 2015 season featuring Wm. Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet andThe Tempest directed by Leda Hoffmann. I have been traveling near and far to compile an absolutely amazing team of actors, designers, and staff to bring these plays to life. As the snow melts and the temperatures rise, planning for the season kicks into full swing. Casting announcements are coming very soon!

In the meantime, I thought I would share the first rendering from Aaron Kopec, our wonderful set designer for the season. This is a sketch of what are calling the “treehouse”. This creative and rustic structure will be featured in both productions. This design will also provide one of the first opportunities we have had to work on a multi-level set during our time in the Garden at Björklunden! More to come soon!
